State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) is set to host a series of three Traveling Office Hours events over the next two weeks, aiming to bring district office resources directly into the communities he serves.

“There are parts of the 24th District that are not near my district office in Carol Stream, and these events bring the resources of my office right into my constituents’ communities,” said Lewis. “I have a very talented staff that can help people navigate issues involving state agencies and departments, and they have tremendous success in helping residents cut through the red tape of state government.”

The three events are scheduled as follows:

- September 24: Traveling Office Hours with Rep. Jennifer Sanalitro at Wood Dale Public Library, 520 N Wood Dale Rd, Wood Dale from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

- September 26: Traveling Office Hours with Rep. Jennifer Sanalitro at Roselle Public Library, 40 Park St, Roselle from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

- October 1: Traveling Office Hours with Rep. Amy Grant at Everleigh Naperville, 504 Commons Rd, Naperville from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

These sessions will provide various constituent services including assistance with unemployment insurance issues through the Illinois Department of Employment Security; issues involving the Attorney General’s Office, the Office on Aging, the Department of Human Services, and State Police; transferring professional licenses from other states to Illinois; attaining or renewing professional licenses within Illinois; Secretary of State motor vehicle issues (DMV); veterans' issues; and matters involving the State Board of Education or Board of Higher Education.

“These traveling office hours are open to all residents in the 24th District, and I would encourage anyone who is having issues with state agencies to stop by and receive assistance from my highly-trained staff,” added Lewis.
