State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) is urging residents to donate to their local food pantries. Many food pantries across Illinois face challenges in attracting donations during the summer months, despite a persistent need.

"DuPage families having stable access to food is a top priority of mine," stated Rep. Grant. "I encourage everyone to work with their families and neighbors to find some extra nonperishable food items and donate them to your local pantry for those in need."

Last month, Representative Grant and her intern team delivered a round of food donations to the Milton Township Food Pantry, which serves approximately 700 individuals per month.

Food pantries across DuPage County in need of donations can be found [here](https://211dupage.gov/index.php?option=com_cpx&task=search.query&common_id=951&geo_county=DuPage&code=BD-1800.2000&name=Food-Pantries).

State Representative Amy Grant is currently serving her third term in the General Assembly. The 47th district includes several communities in DuPage County, such as Naperville, Warrenville, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Lisle, Carol Stream, Bartlett, West Chicago, Winfield, and Wayne.
