State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro (R-Hanover Park) is urging residents to donate to their local food pantries. Many food pantries across Illinois face challenges in attracting donations during the summer months, although the need remains.

"Ensuring families across our area have stable access to food is very important to me," stated Sanalitro. "I encourage everyone to please find some extra nonperishable food items and bring them to your local pantry for those in need."

The 47th district includes several communities in DuPage County, such as Naperville, Warrenville, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Lisle, Carol Stream, Bartlett, West Chicago, Winfield, and Wayne.
