State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro has spoken out against the recent actions of the House Republican Caucus regarding the Election Omnibus bill (HB2412) brought forward by Illinois Democrats. In a statement released on May 1, 2024, Sanalitro expressed her disapproval of the caucus's decision to place a unified "present" vote on the bill.

“I stood united with our Illinois House Republican caucus in voting ‘present’ as a protest vote on yet another major piece of legislation brought to the floor with no transparency and no citizen input,” said Sanalitro. “Legislators must work together to create opportunity for our families and job creators, not play political games.”
