DuPage County Executive Board Veteran's Assistance Commission met July 19.

Meeting called to order at 1904 hours at DuPage County Complex by Mayor with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor followed by a moment of silence for those departed and those who might be in harm's way.
Roll Call:
Bruce Mayor, Don Sender, Alan Mendelssohn, Rich Greenwald, Del Miller, Frank Trout, Mike Barbour, and John Schmitt. A quorum was present.
Alternates in attendance: Leslie Turner, Jim Haley, Joseph Craig, Lisa Mattingly, Phil Maughan, and Rita Kollias
VAC staff: Steve Fixler, Bill Brophy, Bernie Wawczak, Alberto Rangel Mejia

President's Opening Remarks: Downers Grove Summer Concert Series, sponsored by Guaranteed Rate last night was outstanding. They honoured me for my service and there were thousands in attendance which was the largest crowed they ever had. They all gave me a standing ovation and it really go to me.

Motion was made by Mendelssohn and seconded by Miller to accept Superintendent's report. M/C.

- VFW Naperville – Juddathon, Sep 17, 0.1K Run – Supports our house at the VFW Home in Michigan.
