Naperville Police Investigate a Shooting on Inland Circle

At approximately 12:16 a.m. on Monday, May 29, Naperville Police Department officers responded to the 700 block of Inland Circle for the report of a subject that had been shot.

The Naperville Fire Department arrived and transported the victim to the hospital and his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

The preliminary investigation indicated the victim and the person who shot him are known to each other. The two were with some other individuals, when at some point while together a firearm was brandished, and the victim was shot. The remaining details of this incident are under investigation.
