House Republican Majority has issued the following press release:
Hanover Park, IL- Today, Jennifer Sanalitro, candidate for State Representative in the 48th House District, announced another round of endorsements from even more DuPage-area local government leaders.
Hanover Park Mayor Rodney Craig said he was impressed by Sanalitro, “her passion for effective communication on the issues of the day is impressive. Hanover Park will be well-served with Jennifer’s commitment to serving in the State House.”
“Jennifer Sanalitro is a strong advocate for families, law enforcement, and local job creators. She understands the concerns of the families in her community and the importance of keeping the cost of living low and empowering law enforcement officials. Jennifer Sanalitro will be a great representative of our community and I’m proud to endorse her,” agreed Itasca Mayor Jeff Pruyn.
Mayor Rich Veenstra of Addison went on to say, “In an era of ‘follow the leader’ politics, Jennifer Sanalitro stands out as one who understands the issues that matter and who will fight to assure our voices are heard. As a mayor, I rely on, and expect, that the men and women we send to Springfield will be our voices to express the needs, opinions, and beliefs of their constituents.”
“As a former legislator, I know what it takes to do the job in Springfield and Jennifer is well equipped to perform those duties. As a mother, a volunteer, wife of a business owner, sales executive, and a former district sales manager, she has seen the detriment of the current administration's policies on families and businesses. She will fight for working families in lowering taxes, helping businesses to be successful, and strengthening public safety. I wholeheartedly endorse Jennifer Sanalitro for State Representative,” said Wayne Township Supervisor Randy Ramey, a former State Representative of the 55th District.
For the past six years, Jennifer has worked as a sales executive for a packaging company, which provided the flexibility to balance between work and raising a family. Previously, she worked as a district sales manager traveling along the west coast, opening new locations, recruiting, hiring, and training staff. Like many moms, Jennifer could be found volunteering at her children's school over the years. Believing in the importance of early childhood development, she started volunteering at her child's elementary school by reading books to the class and helping those struggling to read. Jennifer resides in Hanover Park with her husband of twenty years, Bobby, who operates his own business. They have two children, Alyssa and Johnny, and Lucy, their puppy.
