Glen Ellyn, IL- Today, Stefanie Hood, candidate for State Representative in the 42nd House District, announced endorsements from two proven DuPage County Leaders, Greg Hart, DuPage County Board Member and Mark Senak, Glen Ellyn Village President.

“Stefanie is someone who will have an immediate impact the second she is sworn in as State Representative,” said Hart, who is also running for DuPage County Board Chairman. “She is a lawyer and a mom and she is committed to improving her community. Whatever, Stefanie puts her mind to, she has a record of success.”

Stefanie is running to make Illinois the economic hub of the Midwest and to foster safe, affordable communities to raise a family.

“I have seen the positive impact Stefanie has had on the community, which she has achieved by listening intently and working towards finding common ground- something we desperately need in these divisive times,” said Senak.

“I know she will be a catalyst of positive change and will help improve our community and state.”

Stefanie has always taken a hands-on-approach to strengthening her community and serves on the Board of Commissioners for the DuPage Housing Authority, the National Alliance on Mental Illness DuPage, and the 708 Community Mental Health Board. Stefanie and her husband reside in Glen Ellyn with their two children.
