The Benedictine University baseball team ran their win streak to nine games while improving to 15-1 in the NACC and 10-0 at home with a sweep of Edgewood.

GAME ONE DETAILS
• Following a delay of 1:11 due to consistent rain, the contest started slow with no offense coming until the bottom of the sixth inning
• Damen Castillo singled with two outs and moved to second on a wild pitch
• Andrew Tenison drew a walk and Cole Wilson singled home the first run
• Wilson stole second and Sam Tickel blooped an RBI double to make the score 3-0
• Justin Sosa did the rest, further lowering his ERA

• Benedictine wasted no time in the second game, jumping on the starter for five runs in the first inning
• Tickel led off the game with a double and scored on an RBI single from Ryan Doubek

• Wilson and Chase Hanselman added RBI singles while another run scored on an error
• The final two runs of the game came in the second to chase the Edgewood starter
