Reid for DuPage County Board has issued the following press release:
Lombard, IL— 16-year law enforcement veteran, former Lombard Village Trustee, and candidate for DuPage County Board Reid Foltyniewicz proved his campaign is off to a commanding start by raising more than all his challengers combined in the first fundraising quarter. Foltyniewicz’s $26,000 fundraising haul rivals even several DuPage County-based legislative candidates ahead of the June primary.
“I’m inspired by the resounding support, but we aren’t going to take our foot off the gas,” said Reid Foltyniewicz. “This race is too important, because DuPage County families deserve better than the Chicago-style politics we currently see on the board. Enough of the division and grandstanding, I’ll be a leader who works towards solutions.”
Challengers in DuPage County’s 4th District put together a combined total of less than $23,000. Foltyniewicz noted he heads into the final leg of the campaign with $22,000 cash on hand with more on the way, allowing him to effectively communicate with voters through Election Day. He also outraised all the local state house and state senate Republican candidates, solidifying himself as a top Republican candidate across DuPage County.
“My experience in law enforcement and as a village trustee prepared me to lead on the county board. I am ready to protect and serve DuPage County,” Foltyniewicz said. “A lot of my neighbors and fellow DuPage County residents invested their hard-earned money into supporting our campaign because they know I will put politics aside and do what’s best for their families. It’s this active leadership I will bring so we can keep our communities safe, lower taxes, and bring jobs to DuPage County.”
