Village of Bartlett recently issued the following announcement.

Cubs Nation Presentation

Saturday, 9/25 at 10 a.m. via Zoom

Journey through Cubs history with Martin Gitlin, the author of "The Ultimate Chicago Cubs Time Machine Book." Featuring videos, photographs and trivia questions, this Bartlett Public Library program covers Cubs history from Tinker to Evers to Chance to the 2016 World Series crown and beyond. Seven Days in Vienna

Monday, 9/27 at 7 p.m., Bartlett Public Library, 800 S. Bartlett Road

For 700 years, Vienna was the center of an empire. Now it is the capital of a small country and focuses on good food and good music. Frequent European traveler Eugene Flynn looks at Vienna’s royal past as well as its fun and exciting present during this Bartlett Public Library presentation. Location: Meeting Room. Registration required.

World Heart Day Health Screenings

Wednesday, 9/29 from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Bartlett Village Hall, 228 S. Main Street

Wednesday, 9/29 is World Heart Day and the Village of Bartlett with the Hanover Township Office of Community Health will be offering free health screenings, including hemoglobin, diabetes and blood pressure screenings., from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Village Hall. The screenings take approximately 10 minutes and walk-ins are welcome. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call 630-540-5906.

COVID 19 Vaccination Event

Thursday, 9/30 from 10 a.m. to noon, Bartlett Public Library, 800 S. Bartlett Road

Both the Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines will be available, with a return visit necessary if you choose the Pfizer vaccine. Bartlett Public Library is hosting this DuPage County Health Department event outside. 

Secret Chicago Trivia

Thursday, 9/30 at 7 p.m. via Zoom 

Think you know Chicago? Join author Jessica Mlinaric for an evening of weird Chicago trivia, like a grave in a junkyard and a pool under the Loop. Come test your knowledge and learn about some of Chicago’s most obscure surprises! This program is funded by the Friends of the Bartlett Library. Registration required for this Zoom program, https://bartlett.evanced.info/signup .
