Analysis: Addison pays $3.75 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Addison Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.2 percent of the $3,836,976 the Addison Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.75 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Addison contributed $3,037,753 to the fund, which saw a $462,212 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $809,052, or 21.1 percent, in 2018.
