Analysis: Wayne pays $12.46 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Wayne Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 92.5 percent of the $225,676 the Wayne Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $12.46 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Wayne contributed $208,708 to the fund, which saw a $15,830 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $16,738, or 7.4 percent, in 2018. Another $230 came from other unspecified sources.
