Village of Bloomingdale Village Board met Oct. 14.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Village President Coladipietro at 7:10 p.m.

Roll Call

Upon Roll Call by the Village Clerk, those in attendance were:

Present: Mayor Coladipietro, Trustees Von Huben, Shannon, Belmonte, Bolen, Bucaro, and Ackerman

Absent:

None

Quorum Present

Audience Participation

Motion by Trustee Ackerman, seconded by Trustee Bolen, to open the floor to the public. All Trustees present voted Aye.

Motion Declared Carried

No one came forward.

Motion by Trustee Von Huben, seconded by Trustee Shannon, to close the floor to the public. All Trustees present voted Aye.

Approval of Agenda

Motion by Trustee Bolen, seconded by Trustee Bucaro, to approve the agenda for the October 14, 2019 Village Board Meeting. All Trustees present voted Aye.

Approval of Minutes

Motion by Trustee Bolen, seconded by Trustee Shannon, to Approve the Minutes of the September 23, 2019 Standing Committee of the whole of the Village President and Village of Bloomingdale Board of Trustees and the Minutes of the September 23, 2019 Regular Meeting of the Village President and Village of Bloomingdale Board of Trustees.

Ayes: Trustees Bolen, Shannon, Von Huben, Belmonte, Bucaro, and Ackerman

Nays: None

Consent Agenda

The Village Clerk read aloud the items on the Consent Agenda

Finance and Administration

1) To accept the Bloomingdale Police Pension Fund Actuarial Valuation Report as of May 1, 2019, as prepared by The Howard E. Nyhart Company Inc.

Planning, Zoning & Environmental Concerns

1) To approve Ordinance No. 2019-29: An Ordinance Amending Ordinances 2005-06 and 2006-05, Repealing Ordinance 2007-05, Amending the Village's Comprehensive Plan. Approving Preliminary Site Plan and Subdivision, and Granting a Special Use Permit for a Planned Development, with exceptions (280-290 Stonington Drive - Noah Properties) and to waive the reading thereof and the second consideration.

2) To approve Ordinance No. 2019-30: An Ordinance Granting a Special Use for the Property Commonly Referred to as 152 Stratford Square Drive, Bloomingdale, Illinois Petitioner, Kill Shot Axe Throwing, Llc (D/B/A Bull & Bear Axe Throwing) and to waive the reading thereof and the second consideration.

Traffic and Streets

1) To accept a proposal from Pirtano Construction Company of Addison, IL to complete Underground Conduit Installation in Springfield Place Subdivision, per the Proposal received on October 1, 2019 in the amount $22,673.25.

The Mayor asked if there were any items to be removed or discussed. There were none.

Motion by Trustee Von Huben, seconded by Trustee Bolen, to establish and place items presented on Consent Agenda.

Motion by Trustee Bolen, seconded by Trustee Bucaro, to approve Warrant #1 for the month of October, 2019 in the amount of $1,796,146.16, as presented.

Ayes: Trustees Bolen, Bucaro, Von Huben, Shannon, Belmonte, and Ackerman
