e) Approval to purchase one (1) 2019 Ford F-150 pickup truck from Roesch Ford Commercial Truck Center of Bensenville, IL in the total amount of $41,311.00; funding from account #160.9000-4302

f) Approval to issue an “Intent to Award” for Bid #19-9-1 for the reconstruction of the North Treatment Plant Digester System to J.J. Henderson & Sons Inc. of Gurnee, IL in the not-to-exceed amount of $6,142,000.00; funding from account #500.5032-4587

9. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

a) FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE O-18-40

At their meeting earlier this evening, the Finance & Policy Committee reviewed this Ordinance, which repeals Ordinance O-18-40. The Committee recommended approval and first reading is requested.

b) FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF ADDISON OF DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, TO BORROW ADDITIONAL FUNDS FROM THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL LOAN PROGRAM

At their meeting earlier this evening, the Finance & Policy Committee reviewed this Ordinance, which authorizes the Village of Addison to borrow additional funds from the Water Pollution Control Loan Program. The Committee recommended approval and first reading is requested.

c) CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL/EXECUTION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) APPLICATIONS/AGREEMENTS FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECTS ENTITLED “KINGERY WEST AREA RESURFACING AND IMPROVEMENTS” AND “ADDISON ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT”

At their meeting earlier this evening, the Finance & Policy Committee reviewed this Resolution, which authorizes the submittal/execution of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications/agreements for the proposed projects entitled “Kingery West Area Resurfacing and Improvements” and “Addison Road Water Main Replacement”. The Committee recommended approval and the Attorney is asked to read the Resolution.

d) CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ADDISON AND PREMCOR REFINING GROUP INC. OF HARTFORD, IL FOR THE DISCHARGE OF TREATED GROUNDWATER FROM A SOIL REMEDIATION SITE LOCATED AT 246 W. LAKE STREET

At their meeting earlier this evening, the Finance & Policy Committee reviewed this Resolution, which authorizes the execution of the agreement between the Village and Premcor Refining Group Inc. of Hartford, IL for the discharge of treated groundwater from a soil remediation site located at 246 W. Lake Street. The Committee recommended approval and the Attorney is asked to read the Resolution.
