City of Elmhurst issued the following announcement on Sept. 21.
It is with heavy hearts that the City of Elmhurst announces the passing of City Clerk Patty Spencer. Clerk Spencer lost her courageous battle with cancer on September 20, 2019. She served her community proudly for many years and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Patty’s loved ones during this difficult time.
Visitation and Funeral Service at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, Elmhurst, IL
Visitation: Wednesday, September 25 3-8pm
Service: Thursday, September 26 at 11 am with burial following at St Peter's Cemetery.
