There were two offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60126, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in the Elmhurst zip code were men. The younger parolee was a 33-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the other was a 30-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2013.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Robert Kouzoukas. He was convicted of a property crime in 2013, when he was 30 years old. He is now 36.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
