Illinois General Assembly: HB2896 actions on May 21

The following actions were taken on May 21 in the House on House bill HB2896 ("idph-diversity task force"): "Passed Both Houses" and "Third Reading - Passed".

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Mary E. Flowers (D-31) on Feb. 14, "amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois" and "creates the Diversity in Health Care Professions Task Force," according to the General Assembly website.

The following senators co-sponsored the bill: Cristina Castro (D-22), Jacqueline Y. Collins (D-16), Emil Jones, III (D-14), Antonio Muñoz (D-1), Martin A. Sandoval (D-11), Elgie R. Sims, Jr. (D-17) and Ram Villivalam (D-8).
