state senator candidate Chris Nybo returns $2,000 contribution from Linda Russo

The campaign committee of state senator candidate Chris Nybo, Citizens for Chris Nybo, returned a $2,000 contribution from Linda Russo on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Russo has not made any other contributions to Chris Nybo in the past 12 months.
