The Veterans Day Observance will be held at the Lisle Veterans Memorial located at 921 School Street on the grounds of The Museums at Lisle Station Park. Beginning at 11am, the Bells of Peace will ring to signify the start of the event, which will include ‘Posting of the Colors’ by the Color Guard, the National Anthem, as well as announcements of each branch of service with a medley performed by the Lisle Community Band, and remarks by various speakers and dignitaries. Free parking for the event is available at the train station commuter lots, and limited parking is available in front of the museum on Short Street.

In partnership with Lisle Park District, Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation, the Village of Lisle, and community members, construction of the memorial was completed and dedicated in the fall of 2016.
