Village of Bensenville issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.
The Village of Bensenville has scheduled a Public Open House for the Downtown Streetscape Improvements – South Half. The project is located between the Metra Tracks and Green Street and from Mason Street to York Road. The Village of Bensenville cordially invites all persons interested in the project to attend an open house meeting concerning the proposed improvement plan for Addison Street (between Metra tracks and Green Street), Center Street (between Metra tracks and Green Street), York Road (between Metra tracks and Green Street), and Green Street (between Mason Street and York Road). The meeting is scheduled as follows:

Time: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The purpose of this open house is to discuss the proposed improvements (including loss of parking and partial closure of Center Street during construction), the project schedule, and obtain public comments. Exhibits will be on display and representatives from the Village of Bensenville and their consultants will be present to discuss the project and answer questions. Written comments regarding the project may be completed at the public meeting or mailed to the below address no later than October 5, 2018.
The meeting location is accessible to persons with a disability. Persons with a disability planning to attend this meeting should notify the individual listed below by September 20, 2018 if special accommodations are needed. The contact person should be informed at the time of notification.
