CITY OF WARRENVILLE: Cooling Center Information

City of Warrenville issued the following announcement on June 14.

During these hot summer months, it is nice to know that there are local and state cooling centers made available to you. Most all cooling centers are open during regular daytime business hours; however, hours will vary from facility to facility. Please remember that during any weather-related emergency situation, it is necessary to dial 9-1-1 for a police or medical response.

 

Local cooling center sites for Warrenville are listed below, while State of Illinois sites and links to warm-weather tips and assistance are available through Keep Cool Illinois.

City of Warrenville cooling center sites include:

Warrenville Public Library (28 W 751 Stafford Place)

Monday - Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday – 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Warrenville Park District Recreation Center (3 S 260 Warren Avenue)

Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Friday, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, 9 a.m. - noon

Overnight Accommodations in Warrenville:

Available by appointment only. Call 9-1-1 and ask to speak with an on-duty corporal or sergeant.
