Report: Maercker spent $14,307 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Maercker School District 60 is up 3 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $13,914 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $14,307 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1341 to 1406.

Maercker's spending in 2016-17 was 10 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
