DuPage County Veterans Assistance Commission met January 17.

Meeting called to order at 1900 hours at DuPage County Complex by Barbour with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Barbour followed by a moment of silence for those departed and those who might be in harm's way.
Roll Call:
Mike Barbour, Don Sender, Stanley Herzog, Rich Greenwald, Rich Wagner, Bill Barta, Sid Bergh, Lewis Delin, Jay Donavan and Bruce Mayor. A quorum was present
Alternates in attendance: James Wiora
VAC staff attending: Steve Fixler, Bill Brophy and Bernadette Wawczak
President's Opening Remarks: I will be having hip surgery shortly. President swore in – Sender, Barta, Donovan and Wiora

After discussion, it was moved by Donovan and seconded by Bergh that the Treasurer's report be accepted subject to audit. M/C.
Secretary:
Minutes were read. It was moved by Mayor and seconded by Delin to approve the minutes as read. M/C.

Motion was made by Wagner and seconded by Sender to accept Superintendent's report. M/C.

Stan – VAC Kane County – 3rd Thursday – Denny’s – Fermi Lab will discuss internships
– VAC Kane County – Feb 21 – Denny’s – Senator Duckworth’s office will be there Barbour – Naperville VFW will start Friday Night Fish Fry’s on Feb 9
Bergh – Villa Park VFW has Fish Fry’s everything Friday Night at 1730

- Intergovernmental Agreement will expire Oct 25, 2018. The VAC Board will start to re-look the agreement
and send a copy to the County Board so they can start looking at it.
