The calls in Naperville included 212 fires - 96 structure fires, 25 vehicle fires and 80 other fires. The fire department also responded to 11 calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $2,434,503 in fire loss - or about $11,484 per fire.
The department also received two false calls, including 50 malicious calls and 2 other false calls.
The calls resulted in three civilian fire-related injuries.
The Naperville Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 192 active employees and 93 retired or inactive employees, was $8,248,516 in debt as of December 2015, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $38,908 for every fire in 2016.
