Village of Winfield Riverwalk Committee met Feb. 20.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
I. Call To Order
Present: Gary Bernard, Cindy Boggs, Craig Chapman, Jennifer Kiebles, Deborah Linhart, Steve Massie, Will Mego, Steve Roma nelli

I. Approval Of Meeting Minutes
Will Mego made a motion and Deborah Linhart seconded a motion to approve the outstanding minutes. Ayes all present.

A. Review of previous action items
None
B. RW Committee-Construction plan update
Phase 1 construction plan was discussed with Curt Barrett. The dollar amounts need to be confirmed. Suggestions for donors include CDH, Park District, the Village, and Committee members.
Erik Spande said the Village would pay for the 31K for the ERA Phase ll plan. Curt might be able to help with finding a grant writer. The grant writer funding could come from the Advocates. Since the Village budget will be approved in March/April, the Committee needs to send a letter to Kurt concerning how much money the Committee would provide towards the grant writer. Since Gary Bernard will talk to the Park District tomorrow he should ask if the Park District might want to fund our grant writer and/or other items such as a canoe launch.
