City of Oakbrook Terrace Fire & Police Commission met April 13.

Minutes Of The Oakbrook Terrace Police Commission Regular Meeting Thursday, April 13, 2017 Meeting called to order at 7:31 pm. Members present: Valle, Brown and Shanahan.

Also Present: Recording Secretary Nadia Hajduk

Public Comment: None.

Approval of Minutes: Motion made by Shanahan to approve the March 9, 2017 meeting minutes, seconded by Brown. Ayes: Valle, Brown and Shanahan.

Correspondence: C.O.P.S. Law Enforcement Combined Score Report dated April 3, 2017 was received.

Secretary of State. The application for authority to dispose of local records was approved and received. Commissioner Shanahan responded.

Kentech Consulting Inc. : Requesting background information on Richard Clayton and Jamual Jenkins for the Chicago Police Department. Commissioner Shanahan responded.

Bills Presented: Citadel Information Management: Invoice was received for the shredding and disposal of the Commission records for $51.00.

Commissioner Shanahan. Submitted a bill for the 8 Sony tapes that were used to record the oral interviews for $135.95.

Secretary Hajduk. Submitted a receipt for a roll of postage stamps for $49.00. Receipts for the sandwiches and food that was for the oral interviews, 2 nights, $144.81. Videotaping the oral interviews of the law enforcement entrance level candidates, for 2 nights, $150.00.

C.O.P.S. Law Enforcement Multi-applicant oral interviews for 42 applicants, $3,400.00.

Motion by Brown to approve bills as presented, seconded by Shanahan. Ayes: Valle, Brown and Shanahan.

Old Business: New Applicant Testing. The Law Enforcement Initial Eligibility Register was received and needs to be approved and posted by the Commission. Motion made by Shanahan, seconded by Brown.

Ayes: Valle, Brown and Shanahan.

Sergeants Promotional Testing: Current and up to date

New Business The Commission is going to look into updating their current letterhead reflecting the new address and logo. Also will be looking into secure file cabinets that in order to move current files into new Police Station.

Motion to adjourn made by Brown, seconded by Shanahan. Ayes: Valle, Brown, and Shanahan.
