Hinsdale First owes $8,775 in fines

The campaign committee Hinsdale First owes a $75 fine imposed on Jan. 6, 2014, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $8,700 with Chris Elder listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 172 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $995,091 in pending fines.
