The minutes of the July 14, 2016 meeting were approved as presented.
REPORT & RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of Contract with Martam Construction for the Edgebrook Lift Station
Improvements in an Amount Not to Exceed $489,070.00

VOTE:
Ald. Woods made a motion, seconded by Ald. R. Wesley, to approve a contract with
Contract with Martam Construction for the Edgebrook Lift Station Improvements in a
not-to-exceed amount of $489,070.00.
A roll call vote was taken, with the following results:

ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA
? Mayor Pulice asked about grinding corners with the patching program. Assistant
Public Works Director, Ken Rubach, did not recommend that stating that it would
be unsightly and only a short term fix.
? Ald. E. Wesley asked for an update on Murray Drive.
? Ald. Susmarski asked for a status of the Veteran’s Memorial. Ald. Woods stated
that an update will be provided after Streetscape discusses it next month.
? Ald. Catalano asked for a status on Mill Road Resurfacing. Mr. Rubach stated
that they are having the same issue as Murray Drive, although it is a different
contractor.
