The Elmhurst Finance, Council Affairs and Administrative Services Committee (FCAAS) will discuss its recommendations regarding the water services rate reduction from DuPage Water Commission Monday.
The rate reduction of $0.05 per thousand gallons, which was approved last December, will go into effect May 1. The FCAAS Committee plans to pass the savings on to its customers and will ask the city attorney during the meeting to amend the Elmhurst Municipal Code to reflect this rate change.
Other items on the agenda include an electric aggregation update and a review for Elmhurst Downtown Special Service Area No. 6.
Tom Paravola, executive director at Elmhurst City Centre, will lead this discussion.
Since the draft agreement is not yet available for review, the planned discussion of the proposed redevelopment of Wilkins Hyundai Mazda has been postponed until a later meeting.
