Sen. Radogno, Rep. Durkin to host July 22 jobs fair in Willowbrook.
State Sen. Christine Radogno (R-IL) and State Rep. Jim Durkin (R-IL) will host a jobs fair on Wednesday, July 22, in Willowbrook, Illinois.
The jobs fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ashton Place, 341 75th St.
“While we continue to fight for legislative solutions to improve Illinois’ jobs climate, we also support local events like this one that help match qualified candidates with dozens of employers,” Radogno said. “The goal of this event is to provide businesses and potential employees with accessible and ample resources to assist in the job search process.”
A "Stand Our Resumes" workshop will start at 9:45 a.m. At 10:45 a.m. a workshop will be offered to help job seekers with the interview process. And at 11:45 a.m., a workshop will be held focusing on networking.
“The rate of unemployment in Illinois is unacceptable, and we need to pair people who want to work with jobs that suit their skill sets," Durkin said. "I would encourage all people who are in search of sustainable employment to update their resumes and to come dressed to interview at this jobs fair."
All workshops are free of charge.
