Naperville looking for residents to fill a variety of local roles

Naperville, Illinois, is currently looking for interested residents to fill a number of city boards and commissions.

Volunteers are needed for the Advisory Commission on Disabilities; Advisory Cultural Commission; Board of Fire and Police Commissioners; Board of Library Trustees; Building Review Board; Downtown Advisory Commission; Financial Advisory Board; Housing Advisory Commission; Historic Preservation Commission Liquor Commission; Naper Settlement Museum Board; Planning and Zoning Commission; Police Pension Board; Public Utilities Advisory Board; Riverwalk Commission and Sister Cities Commission; and Transportation Advisory Board.

Interested applicants should visit www.naperville.il.us to download an application form. The application, along with a copy of the individual’s résumé, can be submitted by mail or in person to the mayor’s office at the Naperville Municipal Center, located at 400 S. Eagle St., or by email to trotze@naperville.il.us.

Applications are requested by Friday, May 1, for the next round of appointments.
