Lisle Township seeks highway commissioner

The Lisle Township supervisor and board of trustees are currently accepting letters of interest to fill the position of highway commissioner.

Interested candidates must reside in Lisle Township and be registered to vote as a Republican. Those interested are asked to submit a short letter of interest, resume and any related materials by Sunday to township Supervisor Rick Tarulis, 4711 Indiana Ave., Lisle, Ill. 60532.

The board will review the information submitted by interested candidates at the Feb. 11 regular meeting and expects to fill the vacancy by Feb. 28. The vacancy follows the retirement of Highway Commissioner Charles B. Clarke.
