Stetson Hatters fall 8-2 to Florida in softball as Kulczyski pitches 2.2 innings

Former Willowbrook High School star Caitlyn Kulczyski and the Stetson Hatters were defeated 8-2 by the Florida Gators during their NCAA Division I softball game at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 1.

The matchup took place at Patricia Wilson Field and marked the teams’ second meeting this season. Their earlier contest on Wednesday, March 25 resulted in a 3-2 loss for the Hatters.

Kulczyski pitched 2.2 innings and issued three walks.

The Hatters will play again on Friday, April 3, at UWG Softball Field versus the West Georgia Wolves.
