Saturday, March 22: Downers Grove North High School standout Ava Gusel’s college team loses to Providence Friars

On Saturday, March 22, former Downers Grove North High School standout Ava Gusel’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Providence Friars.

The game took place at Cacciatore Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Friars this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Cacciatore Stadium against Loyola Ramblers.
