Saturday, Feb. 22: Downers Grove South High School standout Gino Cozzi’s college team loses to Mississippi Choctaws

On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Downers Grove South High School standout Gino Cozzi’s current college team, the Montevallo Falcons, lost 8-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mississippi Choctaws.

The game took place at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Choctaws this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium against Mississippi Choctaws.
