Saturday, Feb. 22: Downers Grove North High School standout Ava Gusel’s college team loses to UNC Wilmington Seahawks

On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Downers Grove North High School standout Ava Gusel’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.

The game took place at Boseman Field. This was their second matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 9 a.m. at Boseman Field against UMass Minutewomen.
