Ryan Schmidt, former West Chicago Community High School standout, played on Thursday, March 6 in NCAA Division III baseball game

On Thursday, March 6, former West Chicago Community High School standout Ryan Schmidt’s current college team, the Dominican Stars, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Northland Lumberjacks.

The game took place at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lumberjacks this season.

The Stars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12:45 p.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex against Mount St. Joseph Mountain Lions.
