Roselle Village Board to consider liquor license, zoning, and sign ordinance changes July 27

The Village of Roselle Board of Trustees will hold its next meeting at 6:30 p.m. on July 27 at Roselle Village Hall. The meeting will be streamed live on the Village's YouTube channel, and members of the public may attend in person to provide comments during designated sections, with each comment limited to three minutes.

The agenda includes the presentation and approval of the July 13 meeting minutes. Trustees will consider an ordinance amending the Liquor Code to increase the number of Class “I” liquor licenses from 10 to 11, specifically for Taco Works at 1308 W. Lake St. The Board will also review an ordinance authorizing the disposition of personal property belonging to the Village of Roselle.

Another item on the agenda is an ordinance adopting new sign regulations as Section 10 of the Zoning Ordinance. This ordinance would amend Section 1-3-B and Section 3-6 (Table 3.2) of the Zoning Ordinance and repeal Chapter 17 of the Village Code. The Board will also consider an ordinance granting a zoning variation for the property at 34 W Maple Avenue.

A presentation on the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget is scheduled for the meeting. The Board will receive information regarding the proposed budget and may discuss priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.
