Richie Sperando, former Downers Grove South High School standout, played on Monday, March 3 in NCAA Division III baseball game

On Monday, March 3, former Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s current college team, the Concordia Chicago Cougars, lost 13-11 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Mount St. Joseph Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 10 a.m. at Chain of Lakes Field against Chatham Cougars.
