Report: Lisle School District spent $21,745 per student in 2019-20
Spending per pupil at Lisle Community Unit School District 202 was up 15.4 percent from five years ago, according to the DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.
The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $18,848 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $21,745 in 2019-20.
The district's enrollment fell from 1,506 to 1,409 students over the same period.
Lisle's spending in 2019-20 was 50 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
