On Wednesday, March 5, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Wednesday, March 5, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.

The game took place at J. L. Johnson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at O'Brate Stadium against Oklahoma State Cowboys.
