On Tuesday, March 11, former Downers Grove South High School standout Payton Janicki’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Tuesday, March 11, former Downers Grove South High School standout Payton Janicki’s current college team, the Wagner Seahawks, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

The game took place at Rutgers Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Scarlet Knights this season.

The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Essex County Mike Sheppard, Sr. Field against Seton Hall Pirates.
