On Tuesday, April 15, former Downers Grove North High School standout Ben Llewellyn’s college team won in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Tuesday, April 15, former Downers Grove North High School standout Ben Llewellyn’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Sioux Falls Cougars.

The game took place at Bowyer Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m. at Baseball Diamond against Northwestern Red Raiders.
