On Sunday, April 13, former Downers Grove North High School standout Ava Gusel’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, April 13, former Downers Grove North High School standout Ava Gusel’s current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, lost 11-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Villanova Wildcats.

The game took place at Villanova Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 4 p.m. at Cacciatore Stadium against UIC Flames.
