On Friday, March 7, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, March 7, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 12-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

The game took place at O'Brate Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cowboys this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12:05 p.m. at O'Brate Stadium against Oklahoma State Cowboys.
