On Friday, March 21, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, March 21, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their first matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Belmont Bruins.
