On Friday, March 14, former Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, March 14, former Downers Grove South High School standout Ella Cushing’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 15-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Wisconsin Badgers.

The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Badgers this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Wisconsin Badgers.
