On Friday, Feb. 28, former Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Wheaton North High School standout Erin Metz’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Green Bay Phoenix.

The game took place at Lou Brock Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4:10 p.m. at Lou Brock Sports Complex against Lindenwood Lions.
