On Friday, Feb. 28, former Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s college team won in an NCAA Division III baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Downers Grove South High School standout Richie Sperando’s current college team, the Concordia Chicago Cougars, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Grove City Wolverines.

The game took place at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Wolverines this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex against Allegheny Gators.
